Grilled Short Ribs with Scallions and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger

  • 2 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 8 flanken style beef ribs (about 1 lb)

  • 12 scallions

  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

  • steamed rice

Directions

  • In bowl, mix first 6 ingedients. Add ribs and turn until coated.

  • Heat grill or grill pan over high

  • Cook ribs and scallions, turning often, until ribs are cooked through, about 5 min.

  • Transfer to platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds

  • Serve with rice
