Buttermilk Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour (7.5 oz)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1.5 cups buttermilk

  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 eggs, beaten lightly

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Stir in liquids, stirring until thoroughly mixed (batter will be thick). Pour 2/3 to 3/4 cup of batter into middle of waffle iron. Close lid and cook 6-7 minutes until golden brown.
