8 tablespoons butter, room temperature

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups confectioners’ sugar

1 teaspoon Amaretto liqueur or almond extract

Beat butter, milk, vanilla, and 3 cups of confectioners’ sugar until smooth.

Add Amaretto and beat well. Add additional confectioners’ sugar until it is your desired consistency.
